Rumney Medical Centre, Cardiff
Rumney Medical Centre, Cardiff is a new two storey steel framed building constructed on a brownfield site. Works are starting on site in September 2012 and on completion it will be the largest medical centre in Wales. The centre will offer some on‐site clinical facilities and a pharmacy.
The existing sites both require demolition and clearance works with re—use of these materials within the proposed formations.
A full survey of the existing drainage established pre and post development flows for surface and foul water allowing negotiation for discharge with Welsh Water on both projects and re‐use of existing connections.
Scheme utilise SUDS and are BREEAM Excellent.
