Stringent due diligence exercise was carried out prior to purchase of the site to verify sufficient capacity of site infrastructure particularly with regard to provision of site wide surface water attenuation and potential affect of above ground flood waters.
Hotel comprises 130 bedrooms with conferencing facilities. The superstructure consists of reinforced concrete precast crosswall construction with precast concrete slab. The roof structure is structural steelwork frames with external steelwork feature columns.
Substructure consists of precast concrete piles supporting reinforced concrete ground beams and insitu ground floor slab.
Externally the drainage for both foul and surface water connects to the site wide infrastructure. A 3D ground modelling earthworks exercise was carried out to retain materials on site.
Car parking and access roads consist of tarmacadam and block paviors laid to falls to discharge to drainage channels and gullies.
